Transition to school is a dynamic process of continuity and change as children move into their first year of school, across the school years and into secondary schooling. The process of transition occurs over time, beginning well before children start school and extending to the point where children and families feel a sense of belonging at school.
Our school is extremely grateful to have the Omeo Early Learning Centre on our grounds. This allows for informal visits across the year where children use our playground, join us for with special events e.g., book week, and get to know us long before they are heading to school.
